Pocketing is used when you want remove all material with a closed boundary down to a set depth. This works well for Pressnuts where you would like them to be flush with the surface or to get the head of a screw below the surface.

Pockets can be shown like any other lines for cutting, we just need to know when files are submitted that you don’t want a through cut. Once we identify the pocketed areas of the parts, all we need to know is the depth.
